French with Corinne:
Your Passport to Fluency
Beginner - Level A1
Corinne's DELF A1 class is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of French language.
You'll learn basic grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation through interactive activities and engaging lessons.
At this level, you will understand and use familiar, everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
You can introduce yourself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where you live, people you know and things you have.
You can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
While the primary focus is on building a solid foundation in French, this course also provides valuable preparation for students who wish to take the DELF A1 exam.
The A1 level is offered in 3 tiers of 12 sessions each.
Early Intermediate - Level A2
Corinne's DELF A2 class focuses on building a solid foundation in French language skills for everyday communication.
This course emphasizes practical vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation through interactive activities and real-life scenarios.
At A2 level, you will be able to understand frequently used expressions related to areas of immediate relevance (e.g., personal information, shopping, local geography, employment).
You can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. You can describe in simple terms aspects of your background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.
While the primary goal is language acquisition, the class structure and content are also designed to familiarize students with the DELF A2 exam format and requirements, providing a helpful advantage for those who wish to pursue certification.
The A2 level is offered in 3 tiers of 12 sessions each.
Intermediate - Level B1
This class is designed to help you reach a B1 level in French, develop your speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through engaging activities and practical exercises.
As a B1 student, you have the ability to understand clear standard speech and texts on familiar matters encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
You can deal with most situations likely to arise while traveling in an area where the language is spoken.
You can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest and describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions, and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
While primarily focused on language acquisition, this course also provides valuable preparation for students who wish to take the DELF B1 exam.
The B1 level is offered in 3 tiers of 12 sessions each.
Advanced - Level B2
This advanced-level course is designed to refine your French skills in comprehension, writing, and speaking.
You will expand your vocabulary, master complex grammar, and develop fluency to confidently express yourself on a wide range of topics.
This course is designed to improve your overall fluency and confidence in French, while also providing targeted preparation for students who wish to take the DELF B2 exam.
The B2 level is offered in 3 tiers of 12 sessions each.

I highly recommend Corinne as a French teacher. She is just terrific! I have taken several courses with her online through Alliance Francaise. She is patient, can very clearly explain concepts and is always very well prepared. Our classes seem to go by quickly, since they are lively. Corinne will add in fun activities to get grammar points across, share deeper information on whatever our topic is that day. She’ll follow up every class with additional exercises or recap of key points that were covered. My knowledge of grammar and vocabulary has increased significantly because of Corinne’s teaching.
