Corinne is lovely. She is prepared, organized, and gentle as she teaches me pronunciation, and is attentive to the way I learn, such that she can adjust her teaching to answer my questions in real time, provide feedback about my progress, and help me make sense of what I'm learning. Corinne is starting me off with the basics, which is a good review, and is helping me use those as building blocks to create sentences and understand what I am hearing when I listen to French speakers. I have just started with her, but I appreciate her professionalism, style, and approach!

No, I’m not fluent, but I can read French well and my verbal skills are much better. I feel comfortable when I go to Paris that I can communicate the basics (order a croissant & coffee, ask for directions) confidently and be able to read/understand most signs/ menus with a degree of confidence Of course, it falls on the student to put in the effort, I know Corrine does.

I highly recommend Corinne as a French teacher. She is just terrific! I have taken several courses with her online through Alliance Francaise. She is patient, can very clearly explain concepts and is always very well prepared. Our classes seem to go by quickly, since they are lively. Corinne will add in fun activities to get grammar points across, share deeper information on whatever our topic is that day. She’ll follow up every class with additional exercises or recap of key points that were covered. My knowledge of grammar and vocabulary has increased significantly because of Corinne’s teaching.
